The CT scan was typical for an infant with meningitis and did not show any abnormalities in swelling or infection, so that is "good" news, or at least means that the scan didn't show any additional problem from what we already knew about.
Peter is now on a new medication to help prevent seizures, along with a double dose of the previous medication he was on (once it is determined that the levels already in his blood will not make additional doses toxic). He will also be turned more frequently and receive "thumps" on his chest to clear out his lungs. The ventilator was also turned up higher again, so it'll still be awhile before we hold our sweet baby as he breathes on his own.
I've been telling Peter tonight about the hundreds and hundreds of people praying for him. He is such a special, sweet boy, and we're so grateful he came to our family. We are all grateful for your prayers and hope you feel Heavenly Father's love as you do so, as we do.
