Peter looks so good tonight! He has had some more awake times and is only on a periodic sedative rather than the steady drip, at least for a little while. His vitals are somewhat better since he is only on that. Joey just helped them wrap him which was neat to watch. Joey saw one nurse do a cool trick with Peter's hands--he's moving so much now that they have to keep his hands away from his breathing tube. We're thrilled to see him so active.
Peter had lots of visitors today: Grampa Jim, Granpa Dan, Granma Lin, Aunts MaLee & Makayla & Madison, Uncle Dalyn, Bishop Creed, and the Knox family. And had lots and lots of well-wishers in spirit. Mom, Dad, and Joseph Michael of course have had a special time with him too. Joseph Michael talked to him and had fun playing with all the food (especially pudding) and had fun playing "musical chairs" again downstairs. We're going to have so much fun with our boys.
They also turned up his milk amount. Our good little eater, even if it is through a tube.
We are praying that this progress may continue and that there won't be any more set backs like yesterday. We are excited to see our baby look more like Baby Peter!
